An Opportunity for Evangelism

Día de Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) is celebrated for several days in Mexico from October 30-November 3 and is rooted deeply in the culture. The Day of the Dead is seen as a time to honor the departed with gifts (Altars) and praise.

The YWAM HOLA Leadership and Pioneering School is one deeply rooted in life. It provides leadership direction for those with a vision and a passion for sharing praise for the gift of eternal life that allows us to ask, along with Paul, “‘Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?’ (1 Cor. 15:55). The only death worthy of celebration is that of our Savior - we celebrate Jesus and His gift of life.

Please be in prayer for the YWAM team as they spend a few days fully committed to evangelism across Mexico City. Pray that God will soften the hearts of those who may be overwhelmed with grief and sadness, that they may be open to being filled with the Light of Life.
